THE CAPTAIN, the new and awaited film by director ROBERT SCHWENTKE, will be competing for the Golden Shell at San Sebastian Film Festival,
after having its world premiere at Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF). The official projection in San Sebastian is scheduled for September 29th.

Based on real events, THE CAPTAIN tells the story of  Willi Herold, a deserted soldier of the German army before the end of
World War II. The actors Max Hubacher, Frederick Lau (Victoria), Milan Peschel and Alexander Fehling (Inglourious Basterds, Homeland, Labyrinth of Lies, Sacrifices without Law) are the main cast.
