THE CAPTAIN, the new and awaited film by director ROBERT SCHWENTKE, will have its world premiere at Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), and it will be screened in the main section of the prestigious film festival - "Special Presentations” section . Based on real events, THE CAPTAIN tells the story of Willi Herold, a deserted soldier of the German army before the end of World War II. The actors Max Hubacher, Frederick Lau (Victoria), Milan Peschel and Alexander Fehling (Inglorious Bastards, Homeland, Labyrinth of Lies, Sacrifices Without Law) are the main cast.
